The Cyprus Automobile Association (CAA) is a non-profit organization governed by an elected council. It was established in 1933 with the aim of offering assistance to the private motorist, in Cyprus as well as when traveling abroad, and to promote the interests of car owners in general. The CAA is a member of the Federation lnternationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the Alliance Internationale de Tourisme (AIT). The CAA helps its members in Cyprus with information and active assistance. It offers the same assistance to foreign visitors who belong to clubs affiliated to the FIA. Members of CAA seeking advice can, as a rule, contact the CAA offices.
